We have a range of included and optional activities to help you get the most from the retreat. We will also have plenty of downtime for rest and relaxation. You may choose one or more of the pre planned activities or you may choose to spend your time relaxing throughout the day at the Lodge, take in the views, or warm up around the fire pit. The choices are endless and all yours.

Ice Baths

As an optional activity during our retreat, we offer the opportunity to experience the rejuvenating practice of ice bath therapy. Jet will guide you through the process safely, ensuring that you can explore this invigorating practice at your own comfort level. Letter Writing

At our retreat, you can participate in a Reflection session. Explore your dreams and aspirations as you create a personal letter to your future self. Julie will assist you in clarifying your goals, providing you with renewed purpose and direction. Join us in this empowering experience to nurture your aspirations.

Meditation

As part of our retreat, we offer nightly meditation sessions. Join us to unwind, relax, and find inner peace. These calming sessions are the perfect way to end your day, promoting a sense of serenity and mindfulness. Yoga

Start your day right with our morning Sunrise Yoga sessions during the retreat. Connect with the rising sun as you flow through revitalising yoga poses. Welcome & Closing Circle

Join us in the magic of "Welcome and Closing Circles." At the heart of our retreat, these circles are where the journey begins and ends. In the "Welcome Circle," we unite to set our intentions, choosing who among us will embody the roles of Wizard, Elf, and Dragons Champion. It's a moment of connection and aspiration as we embark on our retreat adventure. And as our retreat comes to a close, the "Closing Ceremony" brings us back together. It's a time to release what no longer serves us, reflect on our newfound wisdom, friendships, and prepare to integrate it into our daily lives back in the office. These circles bookend our transformative experience, fostering unity, growth, and lasting memories.

Three private spa treatment rooms offer a serene, relaxing environment for body treatments, luxury facials and our signature spa packages. Experienced therapists offer spa treatments that are tailored to your particular needs, featuring high quality, sustainably and locally made beauty products.

Bike Tours

The Gibbston Valley Bike Centre offers a range of hard tail and electric bikes for hire. Riders can bike along the majestic Kawarau River to nearby wineries, while soaking up its famously spectacular scenery. Signage along the trail makes it easy to find your way to/from the winery, giving riders convenient access to some of the region's best wine, food & accommodation.

Wine Tasting

Our expert team can take you through the finer points of tasting wine from current releases to select vintages at our Cellar Door. Stop by to try our award-winning wines and learn about the timeless traditions and vineyards that create our premium handcrafted ranges, as Central Otago’s founding winery.

Hiking & Walking

Stroll around Gibbston Valley & see the bright blues of the Kawarau River up close. Enjoy the picturesque scenery and tranquility. Longer walks on tracks through the forest yield encounters with an abundance of amazing views.
